Man clocked going more than 200 km/h on motorcycle
A 31-year-old man is facing charges after being clocked doing more than 200 km/h on his motorcycle.
The Miramichi Police Force says the incident happened just before midnight on Tuesday.
Police say an officer met the motorcycle on Route 117 and gave pursuit, but lost site of the bike.
A short time later, a second officer met the same bike on Curtis Road. Still speeding, the bike failed to make the turn at the intersection of Curtis Road and King George Highway, and left the roadway.
The 31-year-old driver was arrested for dangerous driving and is facing an upcoming court date.
Police did not release the man's name.
