AG concerned about NBs finances
New Brunswick's Auditor General is raising concerns over the province's financial well being.
Kim MacPherson says she is deeply troubled by New Brunswick's fiscal decline. In her latest report, she points to a $7 billion increase in net debut over the last 10 years.
The debt is expected to hit $14.4 billion by the end of March next year and she says that growth is not sustainable.
She also called for the release of audited financial statements before this fall's election.
The provincial government says it will do that, but have not given an exact date when that will happen.
